We are you using the built in Content Editors role to allow users to update the site. They cannot add a module and I cannot change the role permissions' to allow them to do so. Is there a way to allow users to add modules on their pages as a non-admin editor (content manager/editor role)? If so, how would I go about adding this functionality to the role because I cannot edit the role permissions in the Admin>Security Roles area or the Advanced Configuration Settings or the Site Settings areas. We are using DNN 8.0.

if you need the role members to add modules, you'll need to grant edit permission on the page (you may use copy to descendant, if you need to grant it for a full submenu).

Thanks, Sebastian. Unfortunately, I cannot modify permissions on the page for that user type. It is locked across all columns on all pages with no way to change that. Not sure why this is the case. This should be a simple thing. If a user has Content Editor rights, they can edit pages which includes adding/editing text and images and adding/modifying modules. Not sure why the system isn't allowing this very simple task.
