I can not select,  insert or upload image from image manager. It hangs when selected (popup keeps black).

it occurs on clean install with default skin (dnn 7.4 / windows server 2012).

when i use web developer i see error '.../WebResource.axd?d=S52A8QTw_Lg0CpwoVnIDCz6JZhCHoBM4axhIu-AmRLYPVxHCoY-OvI_6uJS1Snjt0z9yvdM1h3EaLWegjtJ3-D9-otxQYE9GLPV2lh3LlyaxY0m8NZ748Y0hxvni_8bfbDpUI23Vf5kaYfz6-ewSMxacTykzX4sIOZ4bDw2&t=634783790348009208'

maybe it's related?

I hope someone can help

Kind regards,

Bass

if you are running DNN 7.4.0, an upgrade to 7.4.2 is advisable.
If you are using RadEditor, I suggest switching to CKEditor.

thanks for your quick reply but i'm confused because i have installed latest dnn version (7.4.2), meet all the requirement and i can not use the default editor that's provided with the install?

I did what you suggested and install latest ckeditor. I works but i get message 'The current HTML Editor Provider is not supported by this version of the HTML Editor Manager.should it not be working with a default install?

the Html Editor Manager module was created to select the current editor AND configure RAD Editor only.
Ingo's CKEditor comes with its own configuration module, which should be displayed just beneath.
The forked DNN-Connect CKEditor provider (which will be default in DNN 8) will be integrated with the HTML Editor Manager.

Thank you for the clarification.

In my previous reply i was to optimistic. I have tested it futher and found out that i'm still unable to upload images (maybe it's related). I did try to find a solution but none of them did work (for example http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/threadid/195357/scope/posts/index-was-outside-the-bounds-of-the-array)

I get error:
