did you perform a recursive db sync in Admin > FileManager?

did you by chance apply TurboDNN - there were a few versions, which affect folder permissions (corrected in latest version)

no, but i'm not sure it's caused by permissions. If i go to file manager the upload button doesn't work but drag and drop does.  

But to make sure i downloaded TurboDNN099m (turboDNN742) last night and applied in proper order. After all scripts are executed successfully i cleared all cash en rebooted IIS. Unfortunately it did not make a difference. I

did you try using CKEditor instead of default RadEditor?
