Hi,

I have upgraded both my development and live site to DNN 07.04.02 as well as making sure the relevant modules have been included in the site to be upgraded. I then generated a template from the development site and attempted to use it from the Site Wizard and got the error 'Silverburn.template is not a valid portal template file.' 

From the forums I can only see that this has been an issue with older versions of DNN but I am currently on the latest version. This is an old site so I know it has been upgraded a few times but I don't know what version it started from and whether or not that would affect the way it behaves now.

I followed the same process with another site and it worked fine so I am familiar with the template process.

Just wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction?

did you make sure, both sites are using same DNN version?

Yes I have upgraded both my development and live site to DNN 07.04.02 prior to creating the template.

Anybody? I've tried posting this as a question as well but it's still awaiting moderation after a day. I really need to get this sorted and I've a feeling it's not going to be that difficult of a problem to fix.
