Hi all,

When I create some text on the web site I usually use the HTML module. This is fine for me as long as I aim to have some static html content in the page.
In some cases I would like to include some links pointing another pages of my site from within the text. For sure it is possible to include these links directly within the html flow. However as soon as something regarding the site structure changes this will cause big issues! Clicking on a link created in that manner probably will end up with an HTTP 404 status.

Is there a good way to include links directly into the html text flow? Is this possible with any module or a kind of extention perhaps?

Thanks and Regards,
Lars

Lars,
if you are having a site structure, which is changing frequently, you may insert the links using tabid, i.e. "\default.aspx?tabid=123", this link will remain as long as your page is moved or renamed (but not deleted). However, it is not beneficial for SEO, as it is an alias for a page, which has a different "official" URL. Using the Links module as a list of links aside the text might be a more suitable option in some cases.

Hello Sebastian,
thank you for your answer. I feared that there is no solution to include dynamic links in a proper SEO frienldy manner within the html flow itself.
I will make up my mind how it could be possible to develop one for this purpose.

Thanks and Regards,
Lars
