Hi there,

hopefully this is a simple question for someone in the know.

I'm developing a module and I need to access the country code for the user as specified in their user profile. I can see that the value for this property in the UserProfiles table points to a record in the Lists table which contains the country code. However I can't find how you access this field via the API from the UserInfo object.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Cheers!

Olly,

this is indeed quite simple. You can access any profile property by

   base.UserInfo.Profile[profileProperty].ToString();

e.g.

   base.UserInfo.Profile["Country"].ToString();

Happy DNNing!
Michael
