The error message says "This error can be caused by a virtual directory *not* being configured as an application in IIS." (my emphasis).

You should have an application. Is that what you have?

yes it is an application.

So I figured I would try one last time.  I started at the beginning and created site name dnndev.me and it works all the way thru the installation phase and brings up the dnndev.me website but when i try using my website name it fails every time.  I tried using the following Site Names:

blabla

blabla.com

www.blabla.com

with all pointing to Host name: www.blabla.com and it either cannot find my website or it gets the virtual directory problem.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong before I switch to a new CMS product.
