Can anyone tell me if there is an event fired that I can hook into after login. I we are developing a module that syncs our customer account with a sister site. The module gathers user information and then creates a new account on the sister site if their account doesn't already exist.

Hi Scott,

What you can do is just put your code inside the dnn login module (desktopmodules/authentication/login.ascx.cs). I've put code there which fires a stored proc for our software. You can oviously check on the login status. I know this isn't an event but should do the trick.

Cheers

Nils

The best route for this is to create a custom authentication provider, you can replicate the code from the current DNN provider. But do your extra stuff as well. By doing it this way, you will maintain the integrity of your DNN Installation and protect yourself for future upgrades.

First off thank you all for the replies. I decided to go with building a custom registration provider. This allowed me to control a lot more than just checking for login status.
