Thanks Mike for the help. I think the skin solution sounds easier to implement and maintain. Some pages might already have custom code in the Page Header Tag and don't want to risk messing them up while updating all pages. Could you guide me on how to do this using the javascript you mention.

Thanks DNNMonster, tried to use the Content Injection Module as it sounds very promising. Downloaded but when I try to add it says not compatible with host application. According to this https://wnsinj.codeplex.com/ the requirements are:

DotNetNuke version: 06.00.00 and up
SQL Server version: 2005 and up
.Net Framework version: 3.5 SP1

I meet the requirement so it should work.

Just checked the manifest WillStrohl.Injection.dnn in the DNN package

It says requirement is

07.02.00

I am running 6.2.9 so that's probably why it doesn't work. The mismatch on requirements doesn't create much confidence in this module. Any suggestions?

Well the module's author is a heavy hitter around these parts.  It'll do it's job if you get a proper version.

You know I have to ask.

Why not upgrade your DNN install?

Ok, I understand. If it supported the version it said it would support I would certainly give it a try.

That's a fair question :-) I did try to use a higher version but it failed as the host was unable to support the requirements of version 7. I am simply waiting until they can support it and there is enough need to upgrade without adding more issues.

In any case, at this point I would not be upgrading and would simply want to find a simple solution to the HTML header problem which to be honest should not be that complex.

If you look on the right side of the page you can find earlier versions.  I think version 01.02.01 will work for you.
