If we add a new user that is fine.  But if we try to edit them we get the following message:

Error: is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\JacksonvilleTheologicalSeminaryHomeOffice.com\jts.edu\dnn\Portals\0\Users\006' is denied. ---> System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\JacksonvilleTheologicalSeminaryHomeOffice.com\jts.edu\dnn\Portals\0\Users\006' is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, Object dirSecurityObj, Boolean checkHost) at System.IO.DirectoryInfo.Create() at DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderManager.CreateFolderInFileSystem(String physicalPath) at DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderManager.AddFolder(FolderMappingInfo folderMapping, String folderPath, String mappedPath) at DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderManager.AddFolder(FolderMappingInfo folderMapping, String folderPath) at DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderManager.AddUserFolder(UserInfo user) at DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderManager.GetUserFolder(UserInfo userInfo) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.Membership.DataBind() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ManageUsers.BindMembership() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ManageUsers.BindUser() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ManageUsers.ShowPanel() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ManageUsers.BindData() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ManageUsers. Here are the DNN and server notes:

Version: 07.04.00 (353)
Data Provider: SqlDataProvider
.NET Framework: 4.0

Forgot to mention that we have a user already in this account and we can edit that user.  But this only happens with new users.

I would try enabling the write permissions on the User Directory and applying it to all it's child directories for the IIS_IUsers account?

Perhaps the permissions on that directory got changed and new user folders are not inheriting write permissions anymore...

Someone please jump in and correct me if this is the wrong advice.

you need to grant write permission for the IIS website directory of your DNN website to the ASP.NET account specified in advanced setting of the IIS app pool used by the site.
