I've recently upgraded to the latest version of DNN (7.2.4), and on many pages I experience problems with JavaScript loading. It looks like some scripts are loading in an incorrect sequence, and some scripts try to reference code that hasn't been loaded yet. I used to have problems with various RAD controls not beging loaded, thus preventing dropdowns, date pickers, etc. from working.

Now I'm mostly running into "Sys is not defined" and "dnn is not defined". How and where is script loading controlled? A lot of the sub pages that have problems use the same .ascx file as template. If anyone could point me in the right direction on where to start troubleshooting these issues, it would be greatly appreciated :)

Try adding this to the .ascx or it's functional equivalent in the code behind.  I think it might resolve the dnn not defined error.  Let's see if the sys error is still there afterwards.
