So, if you open up a Windows Explorer window on the network share server, find the folder that you want to place the Repository files in, right-click on it and select, 'Sharing and Security...", then click on the Security tab, then "Add..." and finally on "Locations..." .. you can't browse and find the Web Server?

Is that true?

In Locations I can only browse domains and OUs.

I can add rights for the entire server, but that isn't really a good way to do it.

I appreciate the help, any other thoughts?

I'm not all that proficient in network security, I'll have to ask a friend of mine who does that for a living :) and get back to you.

Sometimes I feel proficient at Network Security  and other times I feel not so proficient.

Thanks for the help.

Instead of mapping a drive, refer to the network share using the UNC path format:  \\server\sharename in the "Folder for..." fields in the Repository Settings, which seem to be visible only if you log in as Host.  I was able to implement this successfully.  However, I had to create a standard domain user account to be used as the impersonating account for the DNN installation, and the same impersonating domain account had to be given the necessary access rights to the network share along with the necessary NTFS permissions.  Hope this helps.
