I am having a hard time getting the DDR module to work on my website. Instead of having dropdown menus, I'd like to have side navigation. I add the module to my page (drag and drop) and when I choose the menu settings, I choose in the menu style box: DNNStnadardSide and in the node selection expression I chose -1, 0,0. When I update the menu, an error occurs that is a string of errors:
Error: DDR Menu is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Couldn't load menu style 'DNNStandardSide': System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path. at System.IO.Path.CheckInvalidPathChars(String path, Boolean checkAdditional) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.AddPathList(FileIOPermissionAccess access, AccessControlActions control, String[] pathListOrig, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath, Boolean copyPathList) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.AddPathList(FileIOPermissionAccess access, String[] pathListOrig, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath, Boolean copyPathList) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission..ctor(FileIOPermissionAccess access, String path) at System.Web.HttpRequest.MapPath(VirtualPath virtualPath, VirtualPath baseVirtualDir, Boolean allowCrossAppMapping) at System.Web.HttpServerUtility.MapPath(String path) at DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.TemplateEngine.TemplateDefinition.FromManifest(String manifestUrl) at DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.MenuBase.Instantiate(String menuStyle) ---> System.ApplicationException: Couldn't load menu style 'DNNStandardSide': System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path. at System.IO.Path.CheckInvalidPathChars(String path, Boolean checkAdditional) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.AddPathList(FileIOPermissionAccess access, AccessControlActions control, String[] pathListOrig, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath, Boolean copyPathList) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.AddPathList(FileIOPermissionAccess access, String[] pathListOrig, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath, Boolean copyPathList) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission..ctor(FileIOPermissionAccess access, String path) at System.Web.HttpRequest.MapPath(VirtualPath virtualPath, VirtualPath baseVirtualDir, Boolean allowCrossAppMapping) at System.Web.HttpServerUtility.MapPath(String path) at DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.TemplateEngine.TemplateDefinition.FromManifest(String manifestUrl) at DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.MenuBase.Instantiate(String menuStyle) at DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.MenuBase.Instantiate(String menuStyle) at DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.MenuView.OnPreRender(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace --

Did you see this page?

http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/ddrme...

The menu style should correspond to a folder name of the template that resides in your skin folder or portal root.

I am not familiar with that menu template name. I have seen the treeview, megamenu, sitemap and a few others. A quick google did not show me anything for DNNStandardSide that looked promising.

Here is a few you can download if you haven't found them.

https://github.com/MarkXA/ddrmenutemp...

Once you copy a menu style into your skin folder it should start to work for you.
