Upgrade from 07.04.00 to 8.0.0  in Visual Studio 2013 I get the following error when trying to build a module that has no errors in 07.04.00

The type or namespace name 'PortalModuleBase' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

my Dir then file EditChoose.ascx.cs

and 75 other errors

My old programmer indicated it "The errors are because it doesn't like the dotnetnuke.dll assembly"

please note that there are a number of breaking changes in DNN 8, due to deprecated methods and components removed.

Cheers from Germany,
