It is not an SProc, it is handled by integration of Events with the DNN Journal API

The code for this integration is in the source file ~\Components\Integration\Journal.vb

That is strange. Visual Basic is always considered to ver easy to read ;-)

In contrast to Greek, since they use a different character set. Or in Greek: Σε αντίθεση με τα ελληνικά, δεδομένου ότι χρησιμοποιούν ένα διαφορετικό σετ χαρακτήρων.

Well played Ernst... Well played...

VB is quite easy to read :) but it wasn't obvious to me where or how the  SecurityKey value is set.  I'll keep reading my new VB for Dummies Book to see if I can get a handle on it :)

Thanks for the humor and if you know of an easy way to fix this, let me know. I have been pushing events in social groups with my users and no one can see them.

the problem with the Journal security key: it is not easy to read at all as it is a quirked concept, far from a straight implementation. IMO this should be replaced by a true data driven approach instead of squeezing related items and types into a weird string column.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
