When I try to add a security role in permissions

in the page management, I get this error:

The role specified is invalid. Please specify a valid role.

No

I go to Admin/Page Management

Then i choose a module on the left

But when I go to Permissions, and use the Select Role box

hit the drop down and select a role

When I click add I get the error

However I can use the permissions in the module settings.

That works fine.

ONLY in page management does it not work

However, going to the module does work

but does not reflect in pagemanagement.

I change it in the module page settings, permissions

Then go to pagemanagement and it is not there

where i made the changes
