Hi, we really like the new Content Editor role in Evoq which has the right mix of graphical and analtical views. We want to assign this role to all our staff who will manage their own departmental pages/content.

However we have certain modules in landing pages etc we want to prevent access to , mainly to avoid them editing content in the editor which could screw some underlying custom html.

How can we disable this role at module level, I can do this with a custom role but do not seem able to do so with a built in role. I do not really want to use a custom role when this does what we want?

Assuming we cannot disable a built in role in a module and I have to apply a new custom security role.  Is there an easy way to bulk apply the new role to  all pages and modules in our sites (non admin and host) with a default view setting enabled.

Does anybody have an example sql script to do this

for questions regarding Evoq products, I suggest contacting Support at DNN Corp (most community members don't have access to Evoq products)

Good point Sebastian. We use both the Community and the Pro versions and I have asked Support who are usually pretty good, but there are some very savvy people on this forum and I have often recieved answers very fast so sometimes I post anyway.

understood, but the number of people, who are knowledgeable with Evoq exclusive features, is limited here (most of the time).
