I have been experiencing a series of problems relating to upgrade from 6.2.3 to 7.3.

The first was server related, I installed the upgrade package via FTP without realizing that the site was still set to ASP.NET 2.0 by our host.

I was completing work overnight, so I restored 6.2.3, and addressed the application pool problem the following day. Our host updated our .net version without incident.

However, when I reinstalled the new platform, I experienced an infinite looped redirect problem.

When I reinstalled 6.2.3, I received a "Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count" error.

So, I'm basically stuck.

I restored the site from a backup, but I am still receiving the "parameter count" error.

Any assistance in restoring the site (it is currently essentially offline) or alternatively completing the upgrade would be appreciated.

Its a pretty large scale public health website, so immediate help is required.

parameter count error usually indicate that your database and code are not same DNN version, i.e. a stored procedure has not been replaced and the calling code passes an additional parameter or the stored procedure has been replaced but you restored the previous DotNetNuke.dll calling the procedure with fewer parameters.

Thank you for the speedy reply.

Considering that I have already restored my backup, what additional steps could I take?

Could something have been missed? Is something cached?

Please be as specific as possible, I am a novice when it comes to platform upgrades.

Kind regards.
