Can anyone please help me resolve the following issue. I am setting up DNN on hostgator. I think its some permissions issue.
Step I have taken:
-Download DNN instalaltion zip - unblock it. - Upload zip and extract files in httpdocs folder. - Modified web.config for customError mode off. Accessed site but error occurs.

please make sure, you have .Net framework 4.5.1 or later installed (build nuber must be .Net 4.0.378758 or higher)

I have the same version installed on my local system and its working fine there. 
On my hosting server, It was 2.* or something before. I upgraded it to the only other option available which is the one i am am using "Microsoft .NET Framework Version:4.0.30319; ASP.NET Version:4.0.30319.34280"

please contact your hosting provider, whether there is an upgrade to the .Net framework available on your server.
