I just completed an DNN upgrade from Release 7.3.4 to Release 8.0.1.236 on MS AZURE running SQL Server 12.  Prior to the upgrade, I successfully ran the latest Turbo Script Unschema and tested both login and various modules on the website.  I then executed the upgrade to 8.0.1 with problems only in the sequence of dropping and creating several views for vw_files and vw_published files.  The upgrade ran with no errors.

However, ater the upgrade I am not able to log in to either my personal account on the website nor the host account on the website.  I used Firefox and Chrome with the same results.

Is there a remedy to this issue?

Regards
Hans

I tested on DNN 8.0.1 (new install), but haven't been noticing issues.
Did you re-applyTurboSQL and TurboDNN after the upgrade?

Sebastian,

As usual you are correct.  I applied the new Turbo Scripts and all is now fine and working well.  Thank you.

Hans

Sebastian - I can see that a user already using the Turbo scripts would want to reapply them.

Would you expect the sequence 'Unturbo' followed by an upgrade, to leave the the site broken until Turbo is reapplied?

Best wishes,

If you applied TurboSchema, you should apply TurboUnschema prior to a subsequent DNN upgrade to avoid schema changes interfere with schema bound views and functions. After the upgrade you should re-apply TurboDNN and TurboSchema to regain full stability and performance improvements.
