Hi,

Can you help to figure out how to add alt attribute to the iCal and RSS icons in the image tag in the icon bar of the module? For the accessibility reasons we need alternative text for every image of the site and this one is currently empty. I feel it is an easy thing to fix/configure I just don't see it in any immediate vicinity.

<img title="iCalendar" alt="" src="/DesktopModules/Events/Images/iCal.gif">

Thank you very much.

That icon is displayed using an asp:hyperlink which doesn't appear to allow for ALT attributes. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...(v=vs.110).aspx

There is an alt but it is empty, as you can see. Is there anything can be done? How do I resolve it?

Natasha,
From what I'm seeing, you can't easily do this.
You might be able to do this with JavaScript.

Thank you, Mike. I just wanted some sort of confirmation that I am not missing some settings. It's kind of strange that the attribute is in there but there is no way to give it a value unless scripting it. Should we ask for it? Maybe development can include it in their next release. These elements as static as they can be, they can be built right into the code.
