Hi,

Is it possible somehow to e-mail (notification) an updated record in de Forms and Lists module, but with the previous AND the new content in this e-mail? 

For example: I let my users change the contactlist. In the current situation, I get a notification with the new content of this record. Each time I have to check all fields with my own contactlist (Outlook) to see which field has changed (if any). I would like a notification where each field shows the old and the new value. But: is this possible? Tokenreplacement? XSL?

Thanks in advance for all your help and thoughts. The answer: "no, is not possible" is also an answer!

Jan,

It's not possible with the F&L module unless you modify the underlying code.

You could maybe simulate this using a set of restricted fields where you copy the values from the unrestricted fields into the restricted fields and only display the restricted fields in your list views.

However, it sounds like you're really looking for record-level moderation with F&L doesn't provide.

Thank you very much. The answer is clear, keeps me from searching any further. Your suggesting is very interesting, I'll consider trying something like this!
