I have encountered some strange behavior while developing an MVC module. This module contains a submit button that should post the form back to the overloaded index method of my controller that is decorated with the POST attribute.

The strange behavior is that when logged in this works as expected - submit button is pressed and POST method is hit; however, when I log out and press the submit button, the method is not hit.

Can anyone clarify what is happening here?

Do you have AllowAnonymous method attribute on the method? I think if you want to allow the public submit then you will need it there. If still you see an issue, please post your code snippet so that we can check the issue.
