I went through the Chapter for GitHub authentication by Cathyalconnolly and tried to implement the same and encountered the following issues

1. The source code provided in github doesn't compile correctly (which was not expected), but after few fix I was able to get it compiled.

2.  I took the necessary files needed for authentication and deployed the same in DNN website I have created. I created the extension via Hosts->extensions and then created the package as well for this module.

3. But when I check in Admin->Extensions to do the set up for App Id I got and error "Critical error occurred check event viewer"  ( "DotNetNuke.Services.Authentication.OAuth.OAuthSettingsBase. (EventArgs e at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() - Object reference not set to an instance of an object )

Kindly let me know if there are any other steps we need to do while implementing authentication/Let me know the fix for the same.
