Trying to figure out the logic behind the directory names for forum documents:

I found this in the folders table:

It looks like the last folder is the UserID, the next last is the last two digits of the UserID, but where is the one directly after Users coming from?  I won't have any problem inserting them and creating the subdirectories once I know where these paths are coming from.

I need to move stuff over from a different website but need to know how these sub directories are named.   The last two folders have a pattern, but no idea where that first folder under Users is coming from.

Thanks.

JoAnn,
all numbers used as sub folders are derived from user id, but you would need to check DNN source code, how the numbers are generated.
This is the common user folder, not related to Forums module.

Thanks.   That is why I was trying to get the source code last week.  No luck and nothing coming up looking through Information_Schema in SQL.  Since it appears that there are fewer than 400 different persons who have posted objects that I need to transfer from the old system to the new, I might just resign myself to logging in as each of them and creating the folder manually.  Maybe I can get some volunteers to help.  I need to see if I can make mass assignments of passwords to make that a lot easier.

Thanks for all you do for the community.

the folders will be created automatically upon first login, you only need to create it if there are existing files inside to be migrated
