We logged in today as a SuperUser to make edits to our DNN site 7.4x. There is a dialog pop-up window over our site in edit mode. Our site and this pop-up are greyed out. Cannot edit either or close pop-up. The pop-up is asking us to sign up for a DNN newsletter. Also suggests we can download manual. How do we remove this pop-up so we can continue to edit our site in edit mode? Thanks. I can provide a screenshot if needed. Didn't have this issue about a week ago when we last logged in.

That's the getting started page. Are you sure there isn't a checkbox down at the bottom? I think that "disables" it. I am not sure where this goes into the database though.

Hi Chris

Thanks for the input. Yes, there is a disable checkbox bottom left, but it is greyed out and doesn't allow it to be checked.

Michael,

I guess this is a JavaScript issue. Have you tried refreshing the page or/and clearing your local cache?

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Hi Michael

Yes and in different browsers FF, Chrome, IE. We never had the getting stared page appear with any of our installs or logins. We are going to try to restore the db from a previous working backup to see if that solves the issue.
