I've got backup files of an old DNN site... I'd REALLY like to gain access to the copy of what was on a certain page (don't want to recreate the wheel). Really just need the text copy within the primary TEXT/HTML module in the Content Pane. Is there a way to access that copy somewhere within my backup files? I'm not a techie, so don't really know where to start. Thanks HUGE for any insight/advice/guidance. Cheers - John.

Do you also have the backup database?

The easiest way to do this will be to install the backup (files and database) on a server to which you have access.

Then, you will be able to open the (copy of) the old website and copy the page content.

As an alternate, you can install the database, and dig through it using SQL Server Management Studio. Locate the data in the database and copy it. It should be in the HtmlText table.

Awesome; thank you, Joe. Your last recommendation is just what I was looking for (anything that wouldn't require full site install). Muchas gracias! Have a great day :-)
