Hi,

Does anyone encounter the error below when trying to access Admin > File Manager and logged in as Admin?

No HTTP resource was found that matches the request URI 'http://www.dnndev.me/DesktopModules/DigitalAssets/API/ContentService/GetFolderContent.aspx'

Bringing up the web browser console I found this error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.dnndev.me/DesktopModules/DigitalAssets/API/ContentService/GetFolderContent

It seems to happen with all API calls within the website.

This happens even when I have set-up a fresh DNN 8.0.3 instance on my local PC under Windows 10, following this guide verbatim. I have tested all the solutions I can find over the web but still wasn't able to fix this (updating Newtonsoft.Json.dll, adding to <modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true" /> in the web.config)

I hope anyone can give light to this mind-boggling issue.

Thanks,

Rob

there might be an issue with folder permission for the ASP.NET account (which is specified in Advanced Settings of the IIS App Pool)

Hi Sebastian, thanks for the quick reply.

I've set "DefaultAppPool" and "NETWORK SERVICE" is set to Full Control from the parent folder (C:\inetpub\wwwroot) to its sub-folder and files, then restarted IIS but unfortunately the same error persists.

there might be an issue with DNN roles or permissions.
Backup your database, download and run the following scripts from Host > SQL:
http://dnnscript.codeplex.com/release...
http://dnnscript.codeplex.com/release...
You need to restart DNN afterwards.

I've run both scripts you've posted through Host > SQL. Both were successfully executed, and then I restarted DNN and IIS. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue.

I've done it on a fresh install of DNN again just to make sure but still the same.
