Now that DNN is sunsetting DNN Forum and has acquired Active Modules and its Active Forums does anyone know of a conversion routine to migrate existing Forums to Active Forums or if there are plans to make one available?

Thanks!

JoAnn

there used to be a migration script, which at least supported a couple of tables.
YAF.net is another option, maintained by Ingo Herbote (author the original CKeditor provider and a number of other valuable DNN modules).

I might look into that.  I am going to go ahead with DNN Forum for now, then look at my options.  I really, really DO NOT like letting people wander around in the folder structure like they can in AF.  Any other suggestions?  I did some more reading of older posts and it sounds like unless you go to Evoq Discussions, there will no longer be a forum-type feature that is native to DNN once DNN Forum stops working.  Thanks!

the only content module "native" with DNN Platform is HTML.
DNN Evoq suites include a couple of additional modules (closed source).

Can anyone tell me where to find the migration script from the DNN Forum to Active Forums?
