I enabled content localization for my site. I added the French (French) and ran the translation. The pages were created but the content on the new French pages are all in English. Any idea why the content is not being translated in to French? Thank you.

How did you run the translation? The localization in DNN isn't automatic. You'll have to supply the localization resources or translate manually each resource key as desired.

if you "add" French language, it will just enable the language in the selector, but not provide any translation for labels, help texts, column heads (static platform elements) or content. To get static elements translated, you need to install available language pack in Host > Extensions.
For content translation, the process duplicates the content and creates pages for the 2nd language, but you need to translate manually - automated translation is currently not a level to provide your audience with it.
