Has anyone reported an issue with the DNN Platform downloads?  After running the MS Web Platform Installer, I’m getting the following error.  Any suggestions or recommendations would be most appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

this is very strange.
I suggest installing DNN using free nVQueicksite installer (see http://www.nvquicksite.com/)

Thank you for possible solution. Does the nVQuicksite installer also contain MSSQL Server or do we need to first find a copy of that?

you will need to install MS SQL Server first. nvQuickSite should create the database and login.

Greetings,

After numerous attempts trying to install DNN with nvQuickSite, I get the following errors:

"Error: Some or all identity references cound not be translated" - this one occurs first but goes away after clicking "ok".  Afterwards, the install continues.

"HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error   The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid" - this occurs after the install completes when opening the home page.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there a resolution?

Thank you in advance.
