So we just recently switched to a DNN7 website, after developing the theme and content for the past 10 months. Having wanted to make use of Bootstrap for responsive design elements, we kind of started from there as a foundation. But I've had issues from the very start with the Action Menu on modules when editing a page. Unless the modules' containers have bootstrap's <div class="row">, the action menus for the modules all bunch up in a single column, despite the modules' actual positions.

While I can use a container that includes the row class for any module that is 12 bootstrap columns wide, I cannot do so for those that are intended to be side by side as depicted. Further, when I follow some of these 6-column-wide modules with a 12-column-wide module that has the row class, the row div stretches up and over the 6-column-wide modules while in Edit Mode - making it particularly difficult to actually manage the modules on the page. It stretches up that high in order to meet back up with its Action Menu or its DnnDragHint div.

So I was hoping that somebody else had come up with a fix for this. Not incorporating other-than-12-column-wide modules isn't a solution that we're willing to entertain.

A lot of us create bootstrap skins all the time and I have never seen this.
I'm guessing you have an HTML error somewhere in your skin, did you check the html for unclosed or double closed tags?
