I have created my first DotNetNuke7 C# Compiled Module project in Visual Studio, and it works, I can test it from browser.

Now I want to add an image to my View.ascx page. I have tried to add image file to project, and then reference file in html markup, just like I did before in common ASP.NET projects. But I see there is no bin folder in my project, and I have no idea what happens to image file when project gets compiled.

So, what is standard way to add to deal with images (and other external files, like static html pages) in such a project ?

you should create an image folder in your module folder (/dektopmodules/yourCompanyName/YourModuleName/images) or copy the image during first call of the module into /portals/[portaliD]/images folder. You might need to include the image file in DNN manifest (or use resources.zip).

I have tried to load image from both my module's subdirectory, and portals/0/images folder, but I get error 404 (not found) every time. I need to know what is working directory of my application under DNN (or DNN itsself), so I can construct relative path for image.

Where can I find exact specification for "include the image file in DNN manifest ", how and in which case I should do that ?
