most of the pull requests that are merged recently were from DNN Corp. developers. There are less and less contributions from the community.

Hey, Evoq has Marketo integration so that counts for something, right?

To me, the direction of the community platform will only follow the patterns of Evoq. I don't think there is a big motivation for them to rebuild from scratch since they would essentially cut off the existing revenue streams and have to try to convince customers to switch to a completely rebuilt platform.

As for MVC, I don't know why I would bother. Just keep building SPA/Angular modules.

Then they are stuck with a monolithic system forever if this is the excuse we are going to hear year after year.
