 Hello.

I have only recently been experimenting with DNN. I am installing DNN for the company I work for in order to facilitate a portal with wiki, forums, blogs and news. However, as we are exerimenting with it I do not wish to put any money into a skin that we might not like. I have been trying to find a collection of free skins that actually look good. I am looking for something simple without wasting a lot of space. Something akin to this skin: http://www.tfdnn.com/Portals/0/images/pyramid-full.gif. However, that one costs money and there doesn't seem to be a way to just try them out. So...

Anyone know of any sites with good free skins?

Or you can go to The DotNetNuke Directory and click on Skins, and then select "Free"....

Thanks for the info. I had googled for free skins and I did not come up with anything that I thought was particularly impressive and free. I've checked out the dnn directory with the specified query and most of the links are to sites that charge for their skins. And if they do have a free skin or two they are usually far less impressive than the non-free skins. I may have to give up and buy a skin. It would still be far cheaper for the company to build one internally.

Tyler does have a free skin on his site The tranquility skin - I think it would be converted to dnn 3 & 4 at this stage.

I've got a a few free skins but no they aren't corporates style - they are more generic.

I have recently acquired http://www.dnnskins.com - there are 22 free skins on there - however, they are in DNN 2 format but good to start with and I will be converting these skins as well as a few others I've found and putting them on there in DNN4 format in the coming weeks.
