The Oliver Hine Weather module also stopped working in much the same way.

Weather "providers" will sometimes alter or take down their feed or API which can cause this if the module developer is not keeping up with changes.

I was looking the other day at http://www.willyweather.com/ thinking that I could just bypass the module approach, but this will change over time as well.

You can also check the DNN Store for other weather modules, but check to make sure they work.

You might try simpleweather.js ...   As long as you're comfortable with javascript it's straight forward.

The HTML module can contain HTML code, and also javascript code.  You can enter it directly by switching the editor to HTML mode.

HTML module may contain JS calls, but no scripts. You may place the script into Module Header in Module Settings.
