Hi all.

A friend of mine asked me to implement SSL on his DNN website.

https://www.bulldogfireapparatus.com/

Everything is in place, except i can't figure out where these 3 URLs are being set.  I searched the entire database (I used a Stored Procedure), and did not find remnants of any of them..

I downloaded the ENTIRE website locally and into my preferred IDE, then did a project-wide search for those 3 urls and found the first two URLS (jsapi and default.css) existed in Portals -> 0 -> Templates.

But when i edited the Template files and uploaded them to the server, nothing happened.  Presumably i need to force a reload of the templates... but i dont know how to do that either.

I'm going nuts over here.  I even downloaded dotPeek to reverse engineer the DLLs in case they were hardcoded in there.

These are the 3 culprits that are causing the Mixed COntent SSL issue.

Articles online point to the fact that its SKins or Templates.

So you seem to have identified the problem.

You can clear the server cache and restart the application by going to Settings -> Servers

If that doesn't fix things, I would be looking also at the skin files page views/controls. You might have to make same changes in multiple controls/views.

I think you already checked but....

Did you try changing the http protocol to https? Or using protocol relative urls for ALL the links mentioned in the error?
