I am not sure if this is by design but once in edit mode, all empty panes show. Previously they didn't. Upon further analysis, I found the following:

The former DNNEmptyPane CSS entry in most of my skin packages was set at height=0 and width=0. In others, it was set at display:none!important.

Now, the EVOQEmptyPane CSS entry (DesktopModules/Admin/Dnn.EditBar/Resources/ContentEditorManager/Styles/ContentEditor.css) has it set as Display: Block!important.

I changed the later to display:none!important and it has the desired affect for me. My concern is that it will be overridden in future upgrades.

Do you folks believe this new setting is by design or not?

 DNN platform or EVoq?
Did you upgrade to DNN 9.0.1? Seems to been fixed in that version.

Timo,

DNN Version. I was not aware that 9.0.1 had been released. I will check that out to see if any of the MANY issues with DNN 9 have been dealt with. This is probably the single worst version I've experienced since DNN 5 (when I started working on the platform).

please make sure, the issue is logged in the public issue tracker at support.dnnsoftware.com, in order to get fixed in one of the next versions.
