Hi,

After a successful upgrade from DNN 7.1.2 to DNN 8.0.4, I'm getting many Page Load Exceptions. There are some which show a specific page and others that do not. When I check the page in question, it loads fine.

I'm pasting just one example below. There are many of these occurring per hour (too many to list), sometimes several per minute.

How do I begin to figure out how to fix them? Thank You!

example from Event Viewer:

AbsoluteURL:/Default.aspx

DefaultDataProvider:DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke

it looks like the module SCCInternetMenu raised the issue, did you make sure, the module supports DNN 8?

Thanks Sebastian, I will look into it as it's a custom module.

Here is another example a different error:

this means, viewstate does not contain proper data.
if you called the page and just updated a control or pressed a button, this indicates a bug.
if you were using a stored url or switched between multiple browser windows, this might be a not supported action.

Thanks again. I'm not finding the problem but will research more as I have time. I'm not seeing these same errors on test server version of the site which is also running 8.0,4. I also can't get these errors to happen again , so I'm not sure what triggers them. And there are many other errors, often seven or eight errors on the same page within a minute or so, showing the "state information is corrupted" error similar to the one I shared with you. But I can't get them to occur again to troubleshoot them.

Any other ideas/resources on how I might find out what is wrong and how to fix?

thanks

Tom
