That was the solution, Sebastian. You are awesome.

I just installed the module version for DNN 8. This mean the default DNN 9 is not working without installing the editor? Hope this will fix in the next version.

Thank you!

DNN includes DNNConnect CKeditor provider, which is derived from Watchers.Net provider, the one you had installed. for some reason, during an upgrade the original provider is not replaced.

Sorry, I just came here to search for "HTML Editor not working", as it isn't for me on a new site, and I found this thread ... but it only starts with Y Ma's post saying "That was the solution"!

What was the solution?!

I can edit in basic text only mode, having done a new base installation of v7, then upgraded to v8 then upgraded to 9.2.2. (I know it's a bit convoluted, but I am trying A2Hosting, and they have an auto-install for DNN 7!)

Thanks for any help

Ade.

Sorry again, right after I posted that I noticed there was a "page 1" button!

However, the link I find takes me (via a redirect) to Github, and all I can find there is the full source code and solution etc for dnnCKEditor. Is there not a zip installation file somewhere so that I can install it like any other dnn extension module?

If I click the "Open HTML Editor Manager" button in the Site Settings/Site Behavior/More tab, I get a Page Not Found error.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks

Ade
