firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong forum (sure there used to be an administration forum somewhere, but it seems to have changed).

Is it possible to remove the option for users to Reset their password?
When users login - there's a big button called 'RESET PASSWORD' - and we'd like to remove button entirely.

thanks.

I think there's a setting in the web.config that allows you to turn that on/off. You might look in there to see if you can turn it off, and then test if that removes the button.

Hi Mark,

The easiest way to disable 'Reset password' button is to edit file: ~\DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\DNN\Login.ascx
and set 'Visible' attribute equal to 'false' for control 'passwordLink', line #36, example below:
<asp:hyperlink id="passwordLink" runat="server" cssclass="dnnSecondaryAction" resourcekey="cmdPassword" viewstatemode="Disabled" visible="false"></asp:hyperlink>
