the issue has been fixed (though not very intuitive): if you click "edit page" icon twice

What "edit page" icon? Doesn't seem to me to be fixed.

the pen icon in the persona bar on the left. if you click it twice, it turns blue and sticks to the edit mode (not intuitive though).

Seems to work when it is there, but often there is no edit icon in the left side of the unfortunate personna bar.

Apparently the the inability to delete a duplicate post from this forum is another undocumented feature.
