Thanks for your message.

I tried what you said, and while the page loads/works, it did not resolve the issue of how quickly the page loads. Like you said, there are many variables to consider in terms of how the map was initially created, so it's difficult to pinpoint what needs to be done, based on the information I am able to provide. I am going to have a web developer take a look, but it was interesting working on it to see what I could do with it.

If you're still interested in seeing the page, it's h t t p://www.gef.org/ContactUs.aspx minus the spaces, of course.

Thank you for your assistance. I appreciate it. :)

Based on the original complaint "...the page is loading slowly..." I don't see how that woiuld be caused by an invalid map key. AIUI an invalid map key would mean that you get NO map data. I don't see the connection with loading slowly.

Use your browser's tools (F12 in all major browsers) and look at the networks tab to see what takes a long time.

Best wishes,

Thanks for your reply.

Someone else mentioned that as well. I am well out of my scope on this, to be honest, so I'm just relaying the information I was given by someone supposedly more in the know on these things.

I am going to let a web developer take it from here, but thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it.
