When this code is placed in a DNN 7.x HTML module. This is a link to a screenshot of the code:

DNN strips this text from the code: webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen
Is there a workaround so that the various "fullscreen" options are correctly saved in, and rendered by, the module?

Hi,
I don't see the iframe tag in the code, is this an iframe?
If yes, which html editor are you using? If you go host > Html editor manager you can go through the editor settings and perhaps there is a setting for stripping the iframe.

Hi,

To see the actual code, view the png I linked to in the second line of my post. I was unable to put the code in-line in the post because THIS html editor also stripped it...even when I put it in quotation marks. Of course, this leads me to conclude that upgrading from DNN 7 to even the latest version won't fix the problem.

here is the text inside the iframe tag:

View my screenshot to see the complete string.

Ok now I got you. go to edit content of the html module you want to put the iframe into. In the down right corner of the pop up there is a dropdown with the "Rich Text Editor" option selected. From the dropdown choose "Basic Text Box". Now paste your code and click save. And your code won't be stripped.

BUT be sure not to change again to rich text editor in this module because the code will be stripped. You can use the rich text editor to the other html modules but not at the one you have this particular iframe.

Here's a screenshot of the example I did
