Hello DNN’ers.

I’m using DNN 6.2 and trying to update the sitemap for Google SEO.

1. Under Page Management, I’ve updated the Sitemap Priority field to 1 for six pages that I would like to be first in Google’s search results display.

2. I then go Admin àSite Settings àbasic Settings àSite Marketing and copy the Site Map URL file name and paste into Verification text box (Click Create) and click Create.

3. When I view the sitemap.apsx some of the pages with the 1 priority are not listed and only two pages have a priority of 1. When I go  to Google Webmasters tools page and look under Crawl à Sitemaps, Google shows the appropriate file but the file does not the attributes that I just entered.

Is there something else I must do to properly update the Sitemap file?

 Thank you!

 David

By default hidden pages are not present in the sitemap.

You can enable in in admin / sitemap
