Hi there,

I have created a new role group (we'll call it MyRoleGroup),  added a role (TestRole) in the MyRoleGroup and assigned it to user TestUser.

I then goto the settings of the announcements control and choose the MyRoleGroup group. I then check the edit for the TestRole and update.

When I log in as TestUser, I have the ability to edit existing announcements (which is good), but I can not add new announcements.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this not supported functionality of the announcement module.

thanks

scott

I'm facing the same problem.
When given a user with edit rights, he/she cant seem to add/edit the announcement module.

Any solution to resolve?

Could you specify the module version and the DNN version?

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
