I'm getting the following error message in DNN version 1.

---
Error Loading DesktopModules/AdverForums/ForumMain.ascx
---

I'm not sure what to check here as it is a very old version. I'm not finding any errors in eventvwr too. Any help is appreciated.

Still facing the error. Tried restoring the adverforums.dll file in bin folder but the error still persists. Any idea on how to check further would be helpful.

Thank you.

Which DNN version are you running?
What did you change, just before the error occurred the first time?
Did you try to move the folder DesktopModules/AdverForums/ temporarily out of the DNN Website folder?

Cheers from Germany,
