I have a problem with using IIS 6 Basic authentication (or Windows authentication) and a DNN 8 portal. Here's my scenario:

I want my website to be only accessible for authorized Active Directory users. When such a user visits the site, they're prompted for credentials. Upon successful authentication, the user is presented with the homepage of that site. At some point the user may decide to log into the backend-part of DNN as a DNN-superuser using the typical <site>/login URL.

 I've got the first part of my requirement, the basic authentication, working already. However, when basic authentication succeeds, that user is automatically logged in as DNN user which I don't want. Logging out does not work and I can't enter another set of credentials in order to log in as DNN-superuser. I don't even know what kind of user DNN now thinks has logged in since no information is presented in the login-bar at the top.

I've skimmed through other threads and blogs, trying to figure stuff out, but somehow the solution eludes me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
