You need proper hometabid (of translated 894) entered for en-US record (2nd row above).

I did that before but got than page not found errors. But now I added the home tab id in the first and second row and it works now.

When editing the database tables, it is sometimes required to clear the cache and/or to restart the application or the system does not notice the change and uses the cached data. Maybe that was your case.

Unless you are Setting Cache Level to "None" in Host Settings (which you should avoid, "Heavy" provides you with best Performance), you always Need to clear the DNN cache in order to take your changes into effect.
