Hi there,

I am new to DNN 9 and I am having trouble adding an HTML module to a page.

After first getting into edit mode I choose HTML and the module floats above the screen.
However, it does not allow me to drop it into any of the areas on the screen.
In fact, it cannot be moved - it just hovers.

What am I doing wrong??

TIA,
KIm.

Kim --

Try a different browser.

For example, if you are using Internet Explorer, then try using Chrome.

For example, I am using DotNetNuke "8.0.3" and recently noticed some inconsistent HTML hovering in DotNetNuke menus. The mouse-over in Chrome and FireFox and Edge all worked good and opened the drop-down-menu correctly. However, in InternetExplorer, for some of the main menu items, the HTML hover (mouse over) does NOT open the drop-down-menu. Very strange. I use all modern versions of all browsers.

So, maybe try a different browser.

HTH.

Thanks.

If switching the browser does help, the issue might be caused by data in your cache, especially if you just performed an upgrade.
If it is not specific to a browser, it might be caused by the skin applied to the page. I suggest applying the default skin (in Manage Pages) and retry.
